      <image:title>About - About Me</image:title>
<image:caption>Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, I grew up surrounded by the principles and philosophies of Chinese Medicine where home-cooked meals were used to nourish the brain, the body, and the spirit. My Chinese, Lao American background exposed me to a diversity of foods from a young age. To say I enjoy food is a little bit of an understatement, rather, I live to eat and share tasty meals with friends and family. After working with a non-profit clinic that serves low-income women with cancer, I learned about the value of making choices that leaves one feeling empowered rather than disempowered. My goal as your practitioner is to create a space so that you feel heard, empowered and supported throughout your healthcare experience. I am national and board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs by NCCA[o]M. I earned a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. I maintain a state license in both Colorado and California. In addition, I speak Lao, Mandarin and food.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Acupuncture is the insertion of thin, single-use, sterile needles into acupuncture points to help redirect the flow of the Qi in the body. Acupuncture increases circulation and blood flow at the site of needle insertion, thereby helping to guide the body towards a more balanced state and reduce pain..</image:caption>

<image:caption>Chinese Herbs help stimulate the body’s natural healing process by addressing the underlying root cause of various medical conditions, both acute and chronic. Some of these conditions include common colds, allergies, PMS, stress, digestive disorders, joint pain, and other aging related degenerative diseases. Chinese Herbs are custom prescribed and tailored to your body’s constitution.</image:caption>
